Crochet Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

This collar wonderfully jazzes up blouses, sweaters, and shirts.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and needle size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.
However, other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.


The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF patternonly basic crochet knowledge is required (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

Cardigan/Knitted Jacket Gita - Sizes 36 to 42 One Size

A lightweight knitted piece for all seasons – whether worn over or under – simple, with an eye-catching collar area. Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar design requires a little attention, so the difficulty level is intermediate. Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern, worked out stitch by stitch and row by row, is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Because of the jacket’s relaxed shape and stretchiness, one stitch more or less is not very significant. So it’s no problem if 14 or 15 sts equal approx. 10 cm. If there are larger gauge deviations, please choose a larger or smaller needle size.
The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does include helpful link tips.

We need
225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, information according to the yarn label: needles 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage; alternative yarns: e.g. Kid-Seta (Schulana) or Kid Mohair or KidSilk (Adriafil) – the same quantity in each case for the total back length knitted here of approx. 71 cm. This material is knitted with two strands held together. When using other yarns, please pay attention to the gauge information on the yarn label: approx. 14 sts = approx. 10 cm with needle size 6.0. In that case, knit with a single strand and calculate approx. 100 g more yarn (because of the jacket length and collar) than recommended on the yarn label.

Used here: size 6.0 knitting needles, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch marker, row counter if needed.

Triangular shawl for any yarn - crocheted

For this triangular shawl for all seasons, you can basically use any yarn you like – the thinner, the more elegant. Size: as desired.

For the size made here, approx. 70 cm x 162 cm, I used 350 g of Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50 g – 120 m, needle size according to the label 3 – 4, here crochet hook 4.0. For visual reasons, I would not recommend thicker yarn. I decided not to block the shawl, since that makes the curves of the shell pattern stand out better – but that is a matter of taste.

These crochet skills are required: chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet (explained).

The PDF pattern is illustrated over 15 pages, but it is not a crochet course. Link/video tip for a crochet course and more is included.

Finished measurements: approx. 156 cm circumference x 32 cm (rolls up).
You can also stretch it out to wear as a shoulder warmer. Suitable for all seasons, it can be worn once, twice, or three times around the neck and pairs well with the “Violetta” hat and “Violetta” bag.

This is a universal crochet pattern for a top-down raglan sweater. The pattern can be adapted to

Möbius loop scarf "Spring Awakening" made of cotton. The eye-catcher is the special "pinwheel" stitch. A lightweight loop scarf
for days that are not yet so hot and cool summer evenings. It
brightens up any T-shirt and any blouse. A wonderful gift or
for yourself. In my example, I chose cotton yarn. Of course, it can also be made with lace yarn. The scarf is
twisted once and therefore sits perfectly around the neck. As
protection from sun or wind, it can be comfortably worn over the head.
It is crocheted in endless rounds. Once the beginning
is done, it is super easy. The scarf has the following measurements: width
approx. 38 cm, circumference approx. 94 cm. What you need: variegated yarn in shades of blue with white and shades of green with white, 100 g cotton yarn each (e.g. Linie 346 Arona Batik) with

A poncho always comes in handy in spring. But by now there are ponchos a dime a dozen. Why not knit a Swoncho for a change?



What is a Swoncho?

A Swoncho is a combination of a Sweater and a Poncho. Thanks to the knitted-on cuffs, it always fits perfectly; nothing can stretch out of shape or slip. A Swoncho like this is ideal for spring, when your winter coat is already too warm but it’s still too cool without a jacket. But the Swoncho is also very useful on cooler early-summer days, such as during a cold snap.

If you leave off the collar and knit it with a delicate cotton yarn, you’ll even have a great accessory for summer!



Materials needed:

• approx. 400 grams of “Lippenbekenntnis” Best of by Schoppel (yardage 420 m / 100 g) or a similar yarn with the same yardage
  
• Circular knitting needle 3.5–4.5 mm (I recommend an interchangeable cable system, such as KnitPro, since toward the end there will be a lot of stitches on the needle and you will need a very long cable)
