twisted half double crochet

Can someone please tell me how to crochet a twisted half double crochet?

I’ve learned that for twisted double crochets — and I’m sure this also applies to half double crochets — you insert the hook from back to front into the stitch, through both loops. The working yarn is then behind the hook.
After that, finish the stitch as usual.
 
But please ask the author whether that’s what she meant. She can answer your question best.
