Collection

I discovered the "Collection" feature here on CP today and went ahead and created my own right away. The theme is the color "pink".
There are sooo many collections you could create :)
But it's not being used much here yet. Don't you like this feature?

The feature itself is great, but I think it’s more interesting for buyers. There are hardly any sellers who’ll create a collection with products that aren’t their own. At least I avoid anything that distracts from my own products.
It’s useful for sellers if they can fill it with their own products—like hats or other items where there are several options to choose from.

Well, I actually like it. I also included one of my own items in the collection. It’s nice to put together a selection of things you like based on a theme. I don’t necessarily see the collection as a sales promotion.

Collections are nice to look at, especially the ones sorted by theme. You keep discovering new things that you might not have noticed without a collection.

the collections feature is used very often. Almost all collections are used as wish lists and are “private” or unpublished, so we can’t see them. “Private” means that only the user who created the collection has access to it.
