(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This potholder is considered a classic for crochet beginners.
For this, you need 50 g of cotton yarn per color for a size 4.5 crochet hook. The pattern includes pictures, but is not a crochet course.

These basic crochet skills are enough: (turning) chain stitch, single crochet, and slip stitch.

***********************************************************

This simple crochet hat is also currently on sale and therefore very affordable:

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

ONE hat design that can be worn in all the pictured variations, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).
And best of all: no gauge (it doesn’t have to be exact to the centimeter), no increases or decreases, possible with any yarn you like in all sizes.

The PDF pattern includes pictures.

These crochet skills are enough: chain stitches, single crochet.
Everything else and slip stitches are explained; (video) link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

By the way: A matching crochet pattern for an infinity scarf is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Material for the hat
: for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn,
50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

*******************************************************************************

A useful overview is also on sale:

Another bargain:

Natural Knitted Blanket - Crocheted Border - Easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This knitted blanket is pure relaxation while knitting and is quite easy to knit. It consists of 9 squares that are crocheted together. Finished dimensions: approx. 130 cm x 130 cm.

The short PDF pattern consists of 2 pages and includes 3 pictures from the image gallery (a knitting/crochet course is not included, but a helpful link tip is).

These skills are required:

Knitting: casting on stitches, purl and knit stitches, binding off stitches.

Crochet: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches. Crocheting pieces together.

We need:
Hauswolle by Schoeller+Stahl (60% wool, 40% PAC, 100 g – 200 m, for needle size 3.5 – 4.0);
gauge according to the ball band 18.5 sts x 27 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm;
or Biolana by Mondial (100% organic sheep’s wool, 50 g – 100 m, for needle size 4.5 – 5.5),
gauge according to the ball band 15 sts x 20 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm.
1000 g in natural white or similar / 200 g in olive green,
measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
Used here: knitting needle size 5.0 (so the blanket becomes cozier) and crochet hook size 4.0 for crocheting together and edging.

Crocheted jars are always a lovely idea, whether as decoration or as a gift ... whether in winter for a cozy evening in the living room or in summer on the patio with a glass of wine.

The crochet pattern for the “Lichterzauber” crocheted jars includes plenty of pictures, making it very easy for beginners to follow. And it’s even a form of upcycling, since all you need is an old yogurt jar.

You can find all additional information, as well as the pattern, here: Crochet Pattern for “Lichterzauber” Crocheted Jars

With this crocheted hat, even beginners can quickly crochet a baby hat. Thanks to the earflaps, the baby hat keeps not only the baby's head nice and warm, but also the ears. Of course, the hat can be crocheted in your favorite colors and also makes a lovely gift for a birth.

The pattern includes detailed step-by-step explanations and also contains many pictures. That’s why beginners can follow it easily, too. It is also well suited for using up leftover yarn.

The Mesh Pouch is a small pouch that’s perfect for pens, makeup, eyeliners, cards, and more. It can be used as a wallet or a makeup bag.

The pattern includes many pictures and detailed step-by-step instructions. Since there’s no zipper to sew in, it’s also suitable for beginners. The five buttons keep the bag securely closed so nothing can fall out.

I have lots of affordable craft patterns in my store—it’s definitely worth checking out. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I’d especially like to show one of my little Valentine’s gift packages here.

This cute little gift bag is made from cardstock, measures about 9 x 12 x 5 cm, and is easy to make, even for beginners. It’s especially well suited for small thoughtful gifts like jewelry, keychains, and similar items.

I’d also like to recommend something lovely that’s available for free from me: a pointed hat with a matching triangular scarf. If you start now, both will be ready in time for spring. This pretty knitted set fits 2- to 4-year-olds. You’ll need 1 skein (150 g) of 6-ply sock yarn “Meilenweit” by Lana Grossa (or another brand) and a size 3.5 circular knitting needle. You’ll also need a size 3 crochet hook for the crocheted edge of the scarf. Feel free to read through the comments and reviews from those who’ve already made this project.

I hope you enjoy making it. Yours, “Ina strickt”

Free crochet pattern: Horse bag for girls

This beautiful bag is perfect for little girls and all horse lovers.
It may not be super quick to make, but I have really described everything in detail and included lots of pictures.
This bag will be approx. 25 cm long and also 25 cm high if you use the same yarn and crochet hook as I did. Although not a lot fits inside, this bag is definitely a real eye-catcher for little girls. If you want the bag to be bigger, simply use thicker yarn or hold the yarn double.
Use a larger crochet hook as well, and the bag will have a bit more room. What is crocheted:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet stitches
  • increases and decreases
  • color changes
What you need
  • Catania yarn (pink, hot pink approx. 3 skeins and purple approx. 1 skein)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook, stuffing
  • safety eyes (approx. 10 mm)
  • scissors, stitch marker
With a little effort, also definitely suitable for beginners. Have fun!

This is another very affordable pattern of mine and just right for the coming spring.

I made these window garlands about 85 cm long, but they can also be made longer – since the sequence of motifs repeats, the garlands can be extended indefinitely. Of course, you can also make them shorter :-). The garlands are made of photo cardstock and organza ribbon and are very easy to make.

We all know it: after every project, a mountain of leftover yarn remains...
Too much to throw away, too little to start a new project...

So how about these summery butterflies?
Versatile to use—as an appliqué, as a mobile, in a picture as a gift, ...

And best of all, one of these butterflies can be made in just an hour on the side!
A detailed step-by-step pattern (incl. charts) guides you through the pattern.

This little bag is so versatile!
Children and adults alike have already been delighted with it!

I got the idea when my mother-in-law had to go to the hospital and was constantly misplacing her phone. And what happened? She gave the bag to her roommate... That was the beginning of an almost out-of-control bag production :-)

So it’s perfect as a quick gift (using leftovers) and knits up in no time!

Since Easter is coming up soon, I have a fairly inexpensive pattern here for a
small coaster. This coaster looks like an Easter egg.

Size: 10.0 cm wide and 14.0 cm high

Perfect as a coaster for cups and glasses, but also suitable for egg cups.
How about using it as a gift tag or as a lovely decoration?
This coaster works up very quickly and is kept very simple,
so it is also great for beginners.

Material
  • Catania (leftover yarn)
  • crochet hook 4.0
  • sewing needle
  • scissors
Only single crochet stitches, chain stitches, increases and decreases are crocheted.
We crochet in rows. Everything is explained step by step.

And here is the pattern
Crochet Pattern: Easter Egg Coaster

Dorigurumi wishes you lots of fun

Small, affordable, and quick to make.
A slightly different kind of egg cozy. With just a few grams of your leftover crochet yarn, you can whip up something fun and original for your table. Not everyone has one of these.
The egg cozies are quick to crochet, and by Easter you could have a whole little fleet of them.

About 10 g of crochet yarn, hook size 2–2.5, and just a little bit of stuffing or leftover yarn.
Single crochet, half double crochet, and slip stitches.

Have fun crocheting...

Do you ever find yourself with a tiny leftover piece of yarn in your box and not wanting to throw it away because “you might need just a little bit of it someday”?

With this cute little lucky charm, you can bring a little joy to anyone. By the way, these colorful spring mushrooms also look great in an Easter bouquet among the Easter eggs.

The pattern is perfect for beginners because it only involves crocheting single crochet stitches in rounds. The pattern includes lots of pictures and tips on how to increase and decrease stitches.

And you can find the pattern here :-)
