St. Nicholas Day Plans for Your Children and Grandchildren

Do you have any plans for St. Nicholas Day with your children and grandchildren?

Don’t have any plans for St. Nicholas Day?

Yes, but just for myself, since I don’t have any children or grandchildren.

St. Nicholas visited the grandkids today, of course. They polished their boots nicely last night and set them out by the door. They also placed a little Christmas plate with a treat for St. Nicholas next to them.

Luckily, St. Nicholas Day fell on a Saturday. That way, they weren’t rushed in the morning and could take their time enjoying their St. Nicholas surprises.

St. Nicholas came to visit us yesterday, too. Everyone got a little bag with a surprise. Plus a can of Guzzle.

I sewed a reading pillow for my grandson. 



It’s an upcycled project made from jeans worn by family members—pants from Mom, Great-Grandma, and me. 





He was very happy and took it to bed with him that night as a cuddly pillow.
