Just moved in...

...about an hour ago, my sweet Steffi arrived. My husband saw her online the other day, showed her to me, and said, “Isn’t she cute?” I just said, “Oh yes, very cute,” and nothing more. Today the courier came and brought me a package. Hubby said, “It’s for you, open it,” and out she came :-)))))))).
Now I can sew things for her to my heart’s content, and I already have a few ideas in mind.

that really makes my doll mom heart beat faster. Your Steffi is truly very cute! And I totally understand why you’re so excited to make clothes for her now. Like I said, I have such a special husband, too—he once gave me a little doll because I thought she was so cute. He enjoys seeing the doll family sitting on our couch, too.

Yes, my doll kids are looking at me right now and want new clothes, too. It’s about time I designed something new for them and picked up my knitting needles again. I’ll have to come up with something. You’ve really inspired me now.

Thanks, girls, Steffi is 50 cm tall, so I can use preemie clothes, and I have quite a few in my stash


The first little outfit from a scrap of mine is in the works, but later I want to bring back some jersey fabric from town, because I hardly have any lying around.

I have another dentist appointment at 5:30 p.m., it went really well today, I was able to drop off my dentures and go back home, and I can pick them up later :-))))
The fabric store is only about 500 m farther on :-))))))))))))

Well, everything has its pros and cons… even having dentures. And the fabric store 500 meters down the road is, of course, another reason to look forward to going to the dentist. With the picture of your Steffi in the background, you’re sure to pick out some especially beautiful fabrics later. It’s definitely different from dressing up a teddy bear.

Your Steffi has a gorgeous face—I would have fallen head over heels for her, too. But I still wouldn’t let her move in with me. At any rate, she wouldn’t be allowed to sit on the couch in the living room.
