Unicorn

I’ve been wanting to sew a unicorn for ages, but I wasn’t sure how. Then I remembered an ancient sewing pattern for a little pony and thought it would fit, so today
I finally got around to it. I used an old
molton bedsheet as the fabric :-)

Yeah, that’s really cute!

Today I sewed another black unicorn; I’ll put a bill inside the silver clip at the top, because our youngest granddaughter is being confirmed this coming Saturday. She’ll get it from Grandpa and Grandma for her confirmation.

These would have been perfect for the children’s charity table, too. Unicorns are still very popular. By the way, I like the white one better because I find lighter colors more cheerful. What a lovely idea to wrap the cash gift for your granddaughter this way. You’re just so loving and clever with your ideas.

Thanks for the compliments, and Ina, the year isn’t over yet—I’m just taking a break from sewing for the Kindertafel. I’ll start up again around September to get ready for Christmas. I’ve been sewing almost three-quarters of a year straight, just for the Kindertafel, so I really need a break. :-)
