Storage Bag for Yarn and Knitting Projects

Ingeborg showed us a bag like this in the chat recently, and I thought, you don’t have to buy something like that, you can sew it yourself. The photo was enough for me
on the PC, and then I got started. I made the measurements myself, because in the
original it’s much smaller, but that was just too small for me. The
front pocket took a bit of patience and some unpicking too, but
then it worked out 

In the original, there are holes, or rather eyelets, worked into the lid; I left those out.

It’s a really great piece, but unfortunately I can’t sew well enough to recreate it.😏

Dear Inge, it looks great and is very practical with all its compartments. A lot of work and skill went into those many compartments with their subdivisions. But nothing is safe from you :-) You can probably sew anything you see—except for wedding dresses. Your daughter is better at those.

It’s amazing what you all manage to create. Unfortunately, I can’t sew either. But I’d love to be able to. The bag looks great. I’m also more in favor of making things myself. That way, not everyone has one.
