Doorstop

I sewed this rooster about 10 years ago to use as a doorstop. The bottom is filled with bird sand, which gives it a good, stable base. The other day I noticed that the poor rooster was blind, so I’ve given him his sight back. He’s still serving me very well and keeps the doors open that I want to keep open.

That’s a great idea with the rooster. He’s been doing his job for so long, and now he can even see where he’s standing. Awesome!

And with that little apron—it looks great! I wonder how many times someone’s grabbed him by the throat… and he’s still crowing and doing his job like a champ.
