we used to be little curtains...

and now we have become 16 fruit and vegetable bags. I got these little curtains from a former schoolmate, who asked me to sew them into such
vegetable bags. I sewed different sizes of these little bags,
so I had ZERO waste. She volunteers in her village with the
AWO and looks after people there who aren’t doing so well; these
little bags are meant for them. I didn’t put in any cords, because
my friend already has them at her place. She said to me, I’ll do that
one afternoon with the children, then they’ll have something to do.
There’s also another batch of these little curtains at my friend’s place;
I’ll take those with me when I drop off these bags. At my older daughter’s place,
there’s also another batch of the little curtains lying around that want/are supposed to become
little bags [Image removed]

I still have some curtains lying around in the basement, and I’m always short on bags for the vegetable stand.

Yeah, that’s a really great idea—I always seem to be missing exactly one little bag!
