*Belvedere* Backpack Bag

I sewed myself the Belvedere backpack bag. Man, it’s easy to sew—even a beginner can really manage it. I got some upholstery fabric, so it’s sturdy enough to withstand a bit of wear and tear.

What do you mean by “upholstery fabric”?

Josefa, by “furniture fabric,” I mean the kind you use to reupholster furniture—like when you want to reupholster your corner bench, chair, or sofa, etc. Here in Schweinfurt, we have Te.ox, where they sell this fabric by the meter for relatively little money. The fabric for my backpack, for example, costs only €12 per meter—I’ll definitely be able to make another one out of it, plus a smaller bag. It really doesn’t get any cheaper than that.
