Thank you so much for the congratulations!

For both of us, this is our second “try,” and it’s turned out really well. These have been the happiest 34 years of my life so far, and I owe them all to my Peter. That’s how long we’ve been living together. :)

I truly wish this kind of happiness for everyone here. Even if it starts a little later in life...

We had a wonderful celebration yesterday with dear friends. We received a little treasure box filled with pearls as a gift... so sweet. I’ll take a photo of it and post it here later.

Yes, time flies—sometimes without us even really noticing! We celebrated our 50th last fall—we kept it very private, but we’ll definitely make up for it someday when the “Americans” can join us, too.

Better late than never: I just saw this now and would like to extend my warmest congratulations to both of you (or rather, all four of you) on your wedding anniversary! Cherish the time you spend together and enjoy it!

Now I’m (almost) speechless. ;-) Thanks again to all of you!

I’m as happy as a child about each and every one of your congratulations. That’s what makes life beautiful. And yes, I appreciate little things like this—put together with love—much more than something bought off the shelf. These are personal values that mean a lot to me. Of course, there was also a beautiful card and flowers. And a “survival bag” filled with lots of delicious treats—all things we really like. They really put a lot of thought into their gift. We weren’t expecting any of this at all. We just wanted to celebrate this special day together.

The little things in life—spending time with loved ones—that’s what has true value. And for that, we’re always grateful. That’s why I’m also grateful for this forum and our interactions here, even if they’re only virtual.
