My new glass display case

This is just a fraction of the pieces I put away today. I'm slowly running out of space.

Wow! Did you make all of this yourself? You could spend hours just looking at it. 

Awesome! A paradise for kids—and for adults who are still kids at heart. 

So many of them. And they’re so beautiful. You’ll really be able to enjoy them in your new display case.

That’s my problem too—I have a hard time parting with some things, or can’t part with them at all.

OMG, I’m so excited, Andrea! I’d love to stand there for hours and admire everything in person. You could put on an exhibition right away. Did you crochet all of these yourself? I’m amazed—honestly!!

They all look so cute; it’s really hard to part with them.

It’s incredible how many little figurines you’ve made by hand there — I’d say it’s a paradise for children.

That’s a lot of pieces—they’re lovely to look at. What are you planning to do with them? Are they going to stay in the display case forever? I’ve also done a lot of work, but I’ve only kept a few—I’ve given some to kindergartens and sent a lot to the MDR charity drive. And my grandchildren have gotten many of them.

I was amazed myself—so many figures, and all crocheted by me—it’s crazy. I haven’t counted them yet, but maybe I’ll do that just for fun.
Today at work, I showed this picture to my new coworkers; they were just as thrilled, and I’ve already gotten requests to crochet one or two of them for them. I’ve already infected them with the “crochet bug.”

I’m not quite done arranging the display case yet. Unfortunately, there’s no room for another one—everything is filled up with furniture. No chance. So I’ll just have to change the display every now and then.
It’s kind of crazy to see all the figures piled up together like that.

Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to crocheting soon.

Oh, Andrea, I’m speechless! How many years did you spend working on all these figurines? It’s wonderful that you can now display them so beautifully!

I’ve always wanted a glass display case—more for my beaded figurines, actually—but the crocheted ones look great in there, too.
