Socks are always a good choice. These ones definitely are, because they’re a breeze to knit—even if you’ve never dared to try before.

Use cotton in the summer and sock yarn in the winter. The pattern provides detailed instructions for 4 sample sizes.

This sweet baby pinafore dress is knitted with a particularly pretty lace pattern. It fits babies from about 3 months to 1.5 years.

A very lovely project for experienced knitters. It will have the baby girl ready to go out for any occasion.

Various headbands with a pretty lace pattern that can be knitted perfectly from leftover yarn. Best to knit them in different colors for mother and child(ren).

This tunic has a beautiful lace pattern in the hem and a heart lace pattern in the top. The color also goes perfectly with the little baby dress.

This vest has slimming stripes that are simply crocheted onto the finished vest. Bouclé cotton was used here, but any wool or cotton with a similar yarn weight can be used.

I wear this vest all summer and fall, as it can be combined in so many ways.

These cute summer pants for babies grow with your little one; they fit from size 62 to at least size 80. The leg length can be varied.

Pinafore dresses are wonderfully versatile in summer and fall and can be worn all year round. All three are easy to make yourself—without seams. If you've knitted before, you'll be able to do it.

This pretty cotton pinafore dress with knitted-in hearts can be worn for a long time. It's a quick-change artist and grows with your child from size 62 to 98.

This summer, I’m going to crochet a few more airy sweaters.
I prefer working with RVO—with raglan sleeves. That way, I avoid annoying seams or sagging shoulders.

An easy RVO to crochet is a great addition to your summer wardrobe:

The RVO shown here is 45 cm tall and 50 cm wide.
It was made using 250 g of 4-ply yarn and a 3.5 mm crochet hook.

This beautiful piece is crocheted using a size 3 crochet hook and a 3-ply yarn cake in the color of your choice. Depending on how much yarn you use, you can vary the length of the loop.

It is crocheted using chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and half double crochet.

The “Blue Lagoon” knitted sweater can accompany you all year round. It is knitted from thin gradient sock yarn in a lace pattern. This makes it wonderfully lightweight and perfect for when it gets a little cooler on a summer evening. Otherwise, it’s ideal for the transitional seasons. And in winter, you can simply wear a warm shirt underneath.

This toddler jacket in sizes 80/86 and 92 is just the thing for all little engine drivers! It’s knitted with thin acrylic yarn, making it comfortable against the skin and easy to care for.  The appliqués are crocheted from leftover yarn and then sewn on. It has a zipper in the front, so it can be slipped on quickly when it gets cooler. The train and tractor motif appeals especially to little boys, but is certainly suitable for girls as well.

In summer, we love enjoying our cool drinks outdoors. To make sure nothing can fall into the glass, I recommend these very easy-to-crochet glass coasters, which you can also use as glass covers. This gift bag is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 25.5 x 26 x 9 cm. It’s very easy to make, though cutting out the many flowers and circles does require a bit of time and patience.
