Sometimes you come up with strange ideas.
For example, I thought you could try turning a molecule into a shawl pattern ;)
Especially when you read the slogan of a yarn festival that says: The festival of happiness hormones.
And what does such a thing actually look like?
Okay — that’s a challenge.
Thought and done. And after a lot of ripping back, recalculating, and wanting to throw it into the corner, something actually came out of it — well, at least I think so. I think it’s really cool, and you can actually use it for quite a few things — the Serotonin shawl.
It was designed so that even beginners can have a non-frustrating experience.
You should, however, be able to knit and purl. The rest you’ll learn along the way, like how to work short rows or an I-cord edge g.
The shawl also forgives small mistakes or if the stitch count isn’t exactly right. It’s all half as bad and can be corrected easily.
one size
• 300 g sock yarn (400 m per 100 g), preferably hand-dyed in a faded set or a coordinated gradient set
• If you want to knit the two-color version, you’ll need 150 g each of two contrasting colors
• Circular needle size 3–4 mm
• 2 stitch markers
• Pom-pom maker size 3–5 cm (depending on desired size)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
No resale of the instructions, or duplication, etc. Also no sale of a finished part!
**But it would be really wonderful if you could show your finished pieces here. This encourages others and it is always great to see how different tastes are and how beautiful every single piece is!
You can download the pattern immediately after receipt of payment.
