A small challenge for everyone who likes things a little more extraordinary.

This piece is more suitable for experienced knitters.
You should be able to read a chart (and if you’re really struggling with it, feel free to message me — I always try to help).
You should be able to count ;)
Knit and purl stitches should be familiar to you, as well as yarn overs and different types of decreases.
Working with cable needles — or without, for the smaller cables — should not be intimidating.

You should be able to read charts.
But I’m happy to help with that too if you get stuck.

one size

A total of approx. 1600 m yarn

Either 2 skeins of sock yarn with approx. 400/420 m per 100 g or
800 m each of two 4-ply gradient yarns

Circular needles size 3.0–3.5 mm
(use your favorite size for a nice stitch definition in garter stitch and stockinette)
You may want cables of different lengths or interchangeable tips.
I used 80 cm the entire time, but it becomes quite cozy with all the stitches on it ;)

1 removable stitch marker, for marking rows and sections to make counting easier

2 cable needles / auxiliary needles

Scissors and a sewing needle for weaving in the ends
