I used 4-ply yarn and a 3.25 mm crochet hook. (german size)
In the end, you can use whatever you like because you should work according to measurements and gauge anyway. So anything you enjoy is allowed.
Approximate yarn usage
• Size S → approx. 800 m of 4-ply yarn
• Size M/L → approx. 1000 m
• Size XL → approx. 1200 m
