I'd like to be a seller so I can sell the items I've made

And if you have any questions, feel free to post here in the forum. :-)

But please be sure to get a business license before making your first sale—you can do this for a small fee at your local municipal or civic office, and it usually doesn’t take long.

Hi Erika,

I’d like to add three small but important points to Stefanie’s comments:
1. When working from patterns, make sure they permit the sale of the items made from them (and it must be explicitly permitted—if nothing is stated, selling is not allowed!)
2. Under no circumstances should you include licensed products in your lineup (even though they naturally attract buyers), as this can lead to a whole host of problems for you.
3. Keyword: CE standard!
All items designed to encourage play must comply with the CE standard!
