Terrible database

Hi,
you guys should really optimize the search function in your database.
It’s a pain when I’m looking at something on my phone, see something I like, take a screenshot, and then search for the exact name of the pattern on my computer—only to spend forever trying to find exactly what I entered as a search term.
It’s just really annoying.

We’re currently working on the search function. Hopefully, the problem will be resolved soon.
Would it be possible for you to share the link via email from your phone and send it to yourself? Take a look in the top right corner of your phone’s browser—there might be a “Share” icon there.
Then you can easily open the link in your own email inbox on your computer.

I have to say, I also had trouble with the search function here at first. I’ve found that you get the best results with single-word searches. So, for example, if the pattern you’re looking for is called, say, “Crochet Pattern for a Cute Giraffe and Its Mom,” searching for the full name will bring up way too many results. Searching for just “giraffe” yields fewer results, and then you can filter the results by craft type. If I’m explaining something you already know, please forgive me!

Another way to find things again is the Wish List. You can save an item by clicking on it. Below the “Buy” and “Add to Cart” buttons, there’s an “Add to Wish List” button. If you want to find the items you’ve saved, click “Wish List” in the top menu bar. Everything’s right there. :-)
