Buyer Can't Download the Pattern

I just got a message from a buyer who purchased one of my e-books today and can't download it. What should I do now? Best regards, Yvonne

They’re ZIP files, so you need a program to unzip them—maybe that’s the reason?

if that doesn't work, please send the provider of the pattern a PM = private message, and you'll get some more help there too.

Do you have a PDF reader on your PC? You'll need it for the download.

Is your issue a technical one—meaning you can’t open the pattern—or is it related to the content?

If it’s a technical issue,
you can try this method:
go directly to the product page for the pattern in question and click where the arrow is in the image


This will take you to this page:


There you can download the files directly as PDF files, without a ZIP archive or unzipping.

The images get larger when you click on them with your mouse.

Thanks for the reply. I only have a smartphone, and unfortunately, I can’t zoom in on the images. I’ve never had any problems downloading patterns before. A while back, I ordered a pattern that I also couldn’t download. You can see that in my account. I had unfortunately forgotten about that; otherwise, I wouldn’t have ordered now. I find this very frustrating! How can I now access the patterns I’ve paid for?

If you get a chance, please use a PC or laptop and take another look at my images.
This method works really well for accessing the files.

I can also try to describe it again in words.
Go directly to the product page for the respective pattern. On the right, below the green “Buy” button—where the price is shown—there’s a blue link directly underneath that says:
"Having trouble downloading? Browse this pattern online."
If you click on this link, you can easily download the files directly as PDFs.

When did you write to Strickglück?

It’s very frustrating that you keep having problems with the download—I hope we can get this sorted out. I’m glad you wrote it here in the thread.

Is it still possible to read the patterns on a smartphone or use them that way? I imagine that would be difficult.

Unfortunately, there’s no blue link under the green button. So that doesn’t work either. I hope Strickglück gets in touch with me.

Of course you can still read the pattern and work with it. It’s obviously not as convenient as on a computer, but if you don’t have one, it still works. Or you can have the pattern printed out.
