Dear Josefa, every project you’re working on right now is exciting. 

I’m currently knitting a baby hat for my grandchild, who’s due in September. There will be a blog post with a knitting pattern for it. Lately, I’ve been focusing on how to make sure the color transitions aren’t visible.

If you look closely, you can (still) see them. But after washing, they’re gone. In that sense, it’s an exciting project for me because I’ve learned something new.

I’ve finished two amigurumi: first, a dog with wings (pattern by LaCritza, the Grinsedrahugi). I make this one in the dog’s actual coat color every time a dog belonging to dear friends has crossed the Rainbow Bridge—as a little memento from doggy heaven.

And then, for the third time, a little monster—also by LaCritza, the “Womoma”—which is actually supposed to sit here as a decoration, but its two predecessors found new homes with enthusiastic friends. Let’s see if I get to keep this one. :-)
