—check out that link; you’ll have to scroll down a bit, but this is apparently the new bag trend.
I mean, if it’s in the Chanel show, then soon everyone else who’s fashion-conscious will want one, too.
I’m talking about those little pouches the models are wearing on those narrow, multi-wrapped belts.
I mean, I realize, of course, that it’s not really just a plain old smartphone pouch, but more of a mini-sized pouch—but still. In my opinion, it doesn’t look half bad—the fabric matches the dress, and it’s worn more to the side, well, sort of to the side—but anyway, it goes well with the Chanel outfit.
I’m just wondering if this will replace the clutch—that relatively narrow and small little bag without a handle or strap? I’ve never really been able to get used to clutches that you hold in your hand. I much prefer bags that you can just sling over your shoulder—that’s all there is to it. I don’t like those bags with just a tiny handle that you carry on your forearm, where you always have to hold your arm up so the bag doesn’t slip away. Well, maybe it depends on how heavy the bag is :)
For a while, it looked like the fanny pack from the ’80s and ’90s was making a comeback, but I guess not so much after all. That’s okay—maybe it’s even better that way.
But
here’s my point: if you grab a pattern for a smartphone pouch from the CP Shop, give it a chic makeover, and maybe embellish it a bit with a few extras and such, you’ll have the trend straight off the Chanel runway without having to pay Chanel prices. :)

in the top image, the bag is relatively invisible because it’s made of the same fabric
but I hope you can make it out in the enlarged view
