"Starry Sky" Christmas Curtain

Hello, everyone. My name is Miriam, and I’m new here.
I bought this pattern yesterday and:
I need some help with the pattern.
I’d like to crochet this curtain with a few modifications, but I can’t figure out how many chain stitches I need to make.
I want the width to be just one star wide, but I’d also like to crochet the rod pocket at the bottom as well so I can hang it at the top and bottom. Can anyone ;-) please help me?

Dear Miriam,

at the top right of the main page, you’ll find a small menu item labeled “Account.” Click on it, then go to “Messages.” There you’ll find a red “Write” button. In the message window that opens, simply enter the author’s username in the “To” field.
