Store credit account

Hi,
I’d like to ask about your experiences with the store credit account.
To be honest, I’m a bit worried about the fees.
When I asked my bank, they told me:
- the transfer fees to Latvia are the standard ones (which is fine)
- they couldn’t tell me what fees might be charged in Latvia — but it could possibly get expensive

I actually wanted to test the whole thing with €10, but I don’t see the point if I also have to pay, for example, €7 in fees.

Does anyone have experience with this? How do you do it?

I’ve been here at CP for several years now.
From the very beginning, I’ve paid via the store credit account using PayPal (I do online banking). There are no fees at all—
on the contrary, I even get a 5% discount on the patterns.

I top up my CP prepaid account not via PayPal, but with a regular bank transfer. Absolutely no fees are deducted—I have the full amount available for shopping. You don’t need to worry :-)

SEPA transfers were introduced specifically for transfers to other European countries, precisely to avoid high fees.
As a rule, this transfer only incurs the fees you would pay for transfers anyway. You can usually find more details in the terms and conditions or the fee schedule of the respective bank.
With my checking account, for example, domestic transfers are free, and SEPA transfers are as well.
No fees are charged to the customer by the bank of Crazypatterns.
So you can confidently pay for patterns using the classic (SEPA) transfer and also top up your store credit account with a SEPA transfer.
