How do I turn off comment notifications?

Hi there, I keep getting emails whenever someone posts a comment on a blog where I’ve also left a comment. How do I turn this off? Unfortunately, there’s no link for that in the notification email.

Hi Kelly

Above the “Add Comment” button, there’s a checkbox that says “Notify me when there’s a reply.” You need to uncheck that box before you submit your comment. I’m afraid there’s no other way to do it.

  Just leave another “hello” comment on the post for which you’re receiving notifications, and uncheck the box beforehand.

​But you’ll have to remember to uncheck this box every time before you comment.

I’ll just go ahead and comment on it again. ... and in the future (I hope) I’ll always remember to uncheck that box. ;-)
