This offer is for a crochet pattern from Nancy Brown-Designer - an exceptional design for a newborn. This offer is for the pattern only, not the finished jacket.
A wonderful little wrap-around jacket that is quick and simple to make. The body of the jacket is worked from the back up and over the shoulders. Add a facing and a collar and finish with a picot edging. Add sleeves and a tie to close. A novice with just a little bit of crochet experience will be able to make this precious baby item.
Skills Required / What You'll Receive
Skill level: Intermediate.
Instructions: This pattern PDF includes three pages of written instructions.
Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.

Size: Instructions for 6 months and 12 months are included in the pattern.

Materials: Yarn: The baby jacket shown in the photograph is crocheted in "Super Bebe 100" (a sports weight or size 2 yarn) from Omega Yarns. You will need approximately 700 yards of almost any sports weight or baby yarn to make this item.
Tools: U.S. size F crochet hook.

I really wanted the pattern to make a crochet waistcoat for myself like the one I made for myself when i was about 29 years old which is a long time ago now. I'm 79 yrs old now

Fantastic pattern
Not an easy pattern to follow (I ended up sewing each flower together separately as I couldn't get the hang of the joining. It still turned out well though.
