Cardigan for babies "Fresh" Size: 0 m - 3 y.

Would you like to crochet a cardigan for your child that looks like knitted? Then this crochet tutorial is just for you. A simple children's cardigan with an overlap at the front that is very quick and easy to make. The cardigan is crocheted as one piece and therefore has only two seams. The basic pattern, pattern of the sleeve cuff and pattern of the side cuff are explained with 3 videos.

Advantages of a cardigan: 1. easy to put on; 2. has only two seams; 3. quick and easy to crochet; 4. cosy and soft to the skin. The jacket can be crocheted for summer as well as for winter (depending on the wool).

Attention! The cardigan is crocheted partially (only the sleeve cuffs) with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, inserted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only of the previous row, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting the cardigan, practice crocheting with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few practices, crochet with sl st will work out very quickly. Otherwise, crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool.
