Would you like to crochet a jacket for your child that looks like knitted? Then this crochet tutorial is just for you. A child's jacket with a hood and pockets at the front that is very quick and easy to make (especially if you have already crocheted with sl st).

This PDF crochet pattern consists of illustrated tutorial for crocheting a baby or children's jacket for size 50-128 (0 m. to 5-year-old child) in knitted look. The jacket can be crocheted for summer as well as for winter (depending on the wool). This jacket is crocheted as a raglan jacket and therefore has no disturbing seams.

Note for the sl. st: This jacket is partly crocheted with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, crocheted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few exercises, crocheting with the sl. st will work very quickly. Otherwise: crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool.
