How cool is this bag, just asking to be taken shopping, to the beach, or just about anywhere you need a little tote bag. The front and back hexagons each measure approximately 12" with a 2" gusset. A picot edging and crocheted button adds interest to the top opening, and a V-stitch shoulder strap with a picot edging ties it all together.****

Instructions: This pattern PDF consists of 3 pages of written instructions.
Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.

Size: Approximately 28" in circumference (or around) and 12" in depth with a 26" shoulder strap.
Materials List
Materials: Yarn: The bags shown in the photo are crocheted in Tatamy Worsted (a worsted weight or size 4 yarn) from Kraemer Yarns.
Note: The original design was crocheted in Orly, a yarn that is no longer available (see the white bag in the photo arrary).
Tools: Crochet hook, U.S. siz

I really wanted the pattern to make a crochet waistcoat for myself like the one I made for myself when i was about 29 years old which is a long time ago now. I'm 79 yrs old now

Fantastic pattern
Not an easy pattern to follow (I ended up sewing each flower together separately as I couldn't get the hang of the joining. It still turned out well though.
