Serena's LaceScarf is an elegant neck accessory – simple, yet with that certain
something. Its slim shape makes it perfect for tying in a knot or wearing loosely,
making it the ideal accessory for the transitional seasons. It combines timeless
elegance with a touch of Nordic chic – perfect for those who appreciate a stylish yet
understated look.

This pattern is for expierienced beginners. You can find detailed descriptions of all sections. The lace pattern is given as a chart and as written instructions as well.

One Size.
The examples shown in the pictures are approx. 9 cm / 3.5 in wide and about 130 cm / 51 in long (from tip to tip).
The width largely depends on the type of yarn you use, while the length can be adjusted to
your preference.

  • approx. 180-200 m / 195-218 yd of fingering- or light-fingering-weight yarn, e.g.:
    „Milano“ by Lamana (180 m / 196 yd = 25 g)
    „Jaipur Peace Silk“ by BC Garn (300 m / 328 yd = 50 g, red sample)
  • 3.0 mm / US 2.5 (circular) knitting needle or the needle size that matches your chosen
    yarn.

Note:
For the "Jaipur Peace Silk," I use a smaller needle (2.5 mm / US 1.5) and knit the scarf
slightly shorter, as the silk may lose its shape otherwise.
