Cute Egg Cups

I have the pattern, but I’m having trouble following it. For the nose and feet, do I need to start with a magic ring? And how do I get to the stuffing part—it’s so tiny! Or am I doing something wrong?
Maybe someone could explain it to me again in very simple steps. Thank you very much.
