Crochet

Hi, in my pattern there’s a double crochet with a small half-arch at the bottom. I hope I wrote that correctly. What’s it called, and how do I do it? I’m a beginner.

It will probably be a post double crochet. Depending on which direction the small half-arch points, it is a post double crochet worked around the front or the back. 

Google post double crochet. You’ll find instructions there on how these are crocheted.
