Crochet pattern cannot be opened

Hello, I’d like to request a refund for the “Elephant” crochet pattern from Carina’s Crochet World. Although I can open the file, only the image of the elephant appears—there’s no text. Aside from that, the file seems to be corrupted, as it caused some issues on my laptop.

I paid 2.85 euros and would like a credit to my account.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems with this.
Have you already spoken to the author about it, or should I contact her for you? She might be able to resolve the issue.

Thanks. Yes, I wrote to the author after posting in the forum. I probably should have done that first, but I was so disappointed... We’ll see when—and if—she gets back to me.
