Queue - New patterns aren't being approved

I uploaded three new patterns (free books) about 2 hours ago, but unfortunately they haven’t been approved yet. I was planning to publish them with my girls at 8.

When can I expect them to be available?

Yes, that’s right—I had asked beforehand whether they would be approved on Sunday as well. And I received very positive feedback, so I was really hoping that would be the case.

Hmm, I guess so. It’s really a shame—all my blog and Facebook posts are just waiting for me to hit the “Post” button :( 

Well, this isn’t Facebook, after all. The moderatoren here do a lot. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the moderator team and all the hard-working helpers. You really can’t expect people to work 24 hours on a Sunday.

Nein das verlange ich auch nicht, ich habe nur gehört, dass es Sonntag auch kein Problem sei und nun alles für Sonntag vorbereitet. Und ja großen Respekt, dass auch am Sonntag Mods hier unterwegs sind. Ihr macht einen großartigen Job.

Yeah, I’ve also been waiting since Friday evening for my pattern to be approved. I’ve decided to wait until Monday morning before contacting support, but sometimes you do make a mistake when uploading...

Wenn Du schon seit Freitag wartest, kann etwas nicht stimmen. Zwischenzeitlich sind schon viele
Anleitung freigeschalten worden. Ich würde den Support anschreiben.

You can check in your pattern manager to see whether an invalid file format might have slipped in during the upload.
That has happened to me before, too. Instead of a zip, I uploaded a regular PDF...

Thanks for the tips! It really was my mistake—I had saved the pattern as a draft.

Well, based on experience, patterns are usually approved within 24 hours—though on weekends and holidays it can sometimes take longer, since the moderators also have weekends off or personal commitments. Generally speaking, some patterns are approved on Sundays and Saturdays as well, but you really can’t expect a 24-hour service then.

During the week, approvals usually happen in the morning and afternoon, and occasionally in the evening.
