Hi karmara,
If you want to reply to an existing thread, you’ll find the input field for “Write a reply” below the last post in that very thread. You can write your reply there. If you click “+new” at the top of the thread, you’ll create a new, independent thread. That’s not a big deal, but then it isn’t in the right thread. 
I’ve added your reply for the folder thread over in the folder thread.
