You don’t have to throw away small amounts of leftover yarn, because you can still use them to create lots of pretty things. Here are a few patterns from my shop that my customers especially like:

For the
“Lucky Charm” crochet appliqués even the tiniest scraps of yarn are enough. You can use the appliqués as gift tags, on greeting cards, or as table confetti.

You can also give this pig as a good-luck charm, but it is also very useful. The
“Lucky Pig” dish sponge is crocheted from sponge yarn and helps with washing dishes in the kitchen. Thanks to its slightly scratchy surface, it easily deals with dried-on food residue without scratching the dishes. It can also be used as a massage sponge.

This project is also very good for colorful leftover yarn: The
Mouse Hunt board game is played with a color die and is therefore suitable even for younger children. The game board can be rolled up, so you can easily take this game with you on vacation, as it doesn’t need much space. And if it is played on the sandy beach and gets a little dirty—no problem! Then it will come clean again in the washing machine!
