Duplicate Stitch

Hi!
Can anyone explain to me how to do the duplicate stitch, which I use, for example, to crochet the mouth onto the Frog Prince?

Thank you very much, on YouTube I only find duplicate stitch patterns for knitted items.  I’d like the mouth exactly as shown here on the Frog King. The pattern only says duplicate stitch or embroidery. But it looks like chain stitches.
I’ll take a closer look in the handicrafts circle.

In a crochet piece, those are definitely surface slip stitches.

Yeah, I really hadn’t thought of that at all. Since I transferred the money to an account in Lithuania, I somehow didn’t imagine this to be such a personal interaction here.
It just occurred to me that this is a gathering of various sellers. Great platform.

I’ve got the photo covered, but I’m having a hard time with the crown right now because the gold thread isn’t easy to crochet with. I’ll keep at it. It has to turn out especially pretty for a school cone.
