Sweater with a center cable

Good morning, has anyone here knitted this sweater yet? I really need some help with it—or rather, instructions on how to correct it. The cables are shown incorrectly in the knitting chart.

That’s a magazine, right? Have you checked their website? They sometimes post corrections there.
Ravelry is also a good place to start. There you’ll find projects from magazines, along with people who’ve knitted them and those who’ve spotted the mistakes. Of course, there are German-language projects too.

I bought the magazine and the knitting pattern here on the website, hoping the knitting chart had been corrected in the meantime. I’ve already checked Ravelry, too. Fat chance—it’s all a total mess.
I even marked the cables in red and blue depending on whether they twist to the right or left, but it just doesn’t line up.

While you’re waiting for a reply, you can of course download any free patterns you’d like. 

That’s by Verena???? If you get any help, celebrate it. This wouldn’t be the first pattern that has to be “reworked” because the knitting chart doesn’t match the model.... 
My last inquiry was answered very briefly with the words “that they couldn’t find any error.” I then rewrote it myself.... 
Really annoying because of the time and money involved.... 
Fingers crossed that you get some help. 

Well, I’m feeling pretty optimistic about this. You can see the first mistake very clearly on my knitted piece. The cable is going the wrong way—and right in the middle of the center 🤮

I’m not looking for free patterns, just the ones I want to knit. This sweater is a dream and unlike anything else.

...well, in terms of symmetry, your “mistake” actually looks better than on the original sweater. Just my opinion 🤔
Still, you’d expect there to be no errors in the knitting chart—especially not such obvious ones.
