Wellenreiter Shirt

Hi everyone, I’m at my wits’ end. I knitted the shirt carefully according to the pattern, and now, on row 95 (I’m knitting the A-line version), I suddenly have 4 stitches “left over.” So the pattern repeat doesn’t line up.
I’ve already unraveled a pattern repeat twice.
Maybe someone can help?

Hi Bärbel, it’s best if you write to the author directly. She’s in the best position to help you figure out where your remaining 4 stitches belong, since she knows the pattern.

Where is row 95 in your work?
Just to make sure we’re talking about the right pattern, is this your pattern Crochet RVO Shirt // all sizes // summer shirt (crazypatterns.net)?
Steffi is usually pretty quick with answers; I’ve asked about various other patterns several times already 🤔

“unfortunately” this doesn’t happen to me—I currently have 10 UFOs (unfinished projects) that I’m working on one after another, so there’s no chance of getting “bored” 🙄😇
My mistake is that whenever I discover something interesting, I have to try it out right away to see if it’s “Susanne-friendly” or if it goes with the yarn I have in mind or in my stash 🙃

Unfortunately, I’m in the same boat. Starting something new is just as quick as finishing what I’ve already started.

Now my sweater (or maybe it’ll turn out to be a slipover?) is sitting there, and I’ve already cast on the next project. 

Well, I’ve got a UFO lying around, too. But that’s just as difficult a project. And who wants to have an almost-finished 100% sheep’s wool jacket sitting on their lap right now?
It’s my first Fair Isle project and it’s very large. It’s hard to carry around now. I broke my ankle and am getting around on crutches.

Hi, without a photo, I’m afraid I can’t be much help. Maybe you forgot to knit 2 stitches together somewhere in the pattern? We have a community on crasy.world where you can post photos, as well as in my Facebook group. To find your mistake, I need to see it. You can also ask questions on my YouTube channel during my live stream on Fridays at 7 p.m. But unfortunately, I can’t help you without a photo. The knitting chart is definitely correct, and the “Wellenreiter” has been successfully knitted many times.

By the way, if you purchased the pattern from my website, you’ll also find help pages there, as well as the community that can assist you, and a Q&A thread directly with the pattern. Personally, I haven’t received an email from you or any other inquiry. I only saw Josefa’s note that there was a question here. Best regards

Hi, it looks like you slipped up somewhere in the middle of the repeat. You’re missing some decreases, or maybe you made one too many yarn overs at some point. The waves always line up exactly on top of each other, and the last wave is hidden in the middle.
