The pattern is incorrect, and my inquiries have gone unanswered

I bought the Ealdor pattern (for socks), but unfortunately the pattern is incorrect (the knitting chart doesn’t match the actual number of stitches).
I’m not the only one who’s noticed this; a fellow knitter has also been waiting in vain for a response from the designer for a month now. What can be done about this?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve now figured out the transition on my own, but I’ve already found several errors in the knitting chart—it’s very frustrating.
 

Apparently, this seller doesn’t value customer communication. The pattern is full of errors. So this seller is definitely not recommended. It’s a shame — I’ve enjoyed buying patterns here in the past.
