The ElementSocks, which should represent the elements “Earth, Air, Fire & Water”, have an unusual cuff. It is knitted with the double face technique and can be worn at the leg, folded down at the ankle and over boots (see pictures on first page!). This makes the socks fitting for every situation.

The socks are knitted cuff down using DPNs or another needle system for short rounds. You can use your usual sock needle size.

All techniques are explained with pictures and descriptions. The pattern is suitable for ambitious beginners and advanced knitters.

The length of the leg as well as the heel and toe decreases can be worked in different ways.
