Product description

The SPEEDY SOCKS No. 2 - Chunky Light are knitted from the toe to the cuff. The top and upper are adorned with a 2x1 ribbed pattern and the sole is worked in stockinette stitch. From the tip to the opening, they are knitted in rounds, then in rows. The heel is shaped by decreases. Finally, the SPEEDYs are given a long cuff.

The house socks got the name SPEEDY because they can actually be knitted super fast - 3 threads of thin sock yarn and knitting needles of size 5.0.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Techniques used: purl and purl stitches, increases and decreases – no need for a split heel. All techniques used are explained directly in the instructions, partly with videos.

Skills: Basic knowledge required, everything else is explained in detail or explained in detail through videos!

Size Information

6 sizes from EU 35/36 to 45/46
– corresponding UK sizes 3.5 to 12
and US sizes (women´s) 5.5 to (men´s) 11.5

Gauge: stockinette stitch with NS 5.0mm _ 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) = 17 sts x 23 rows

Materials List

• 150 grams yarn (e.g. SOCKS by woolaffair) with Yardage 50 grams/210 meters
(= 231 yards) – Fingering, Sock – Knit 3 strands at the same time, so 3 balls
of 50 grams each are needed
• Double pointed needles size 5 mm (US: 8 /UK: 6)
• 2 clips (“Raffy” by WoolAffair or similar)
• Sewing needle, scissors

Tolle Anleitung. Hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht und die Hinweise und Anleitungen zu YouTube fand ich super. Man hat nicht immer so alles auf dem Schirm. Daumen hoch :)

Leider bin ich weder mit der empfohlen und extra angeschafften Wolle, noch mit der Anleitung klar gekommen.

    Auf die angegebene Maschenprobe: glatt rechts mit NS 5,0mm _ 17 x 23 cm = 11 M x 16 R wirklich richtig?

    Ich komme bei 11 M x 16 Reihen mit der Nadelstärke 5,o und einer 3fädrigen Wolle mit einer LL von 210m pro 50g gerade mal auf 7 x 7 cm. Um auf 17x23 cm zu kommen, müsste ich vermutlich mit mindestens 8er Nadeln stricken oder bräuchte wesentlich mehr Maschen.

    Bitte um Hilfestellung, da nirgends Masse angegeben sind, um umrechnen zu können

      3 Knäuel Sockenwolle mit einer LL 210m/50g und alle 3 Knäuel/Fäden zusammen verstricken!!!

          Ach Gott... jetzt habe ich erst gesehen, was du genau geschrieben hast. 17 x 23 cm... oh je, da hat sich der Fehlerteufel eingeschlichen... nein, es muss natürlich 10 x 10 cm heißen. Also die Maschenprobe lautet wie folgt: glatt rechts mit NS 5,0mm _ 10 x 10 cm = 17 M x 23 R

            Werde ich nachher gleich testen.

            Bei der Größe 37/38 in den Rückreihen 20 + 22 müssen in der Musterfolge auch Fehler enthalten sein.

            Sorry, aber bei der Preislage sollte man davon ausgehen können, daß mindestens einmal Korrektur gestrickt wurde.
