The name says it all, because the pattern is not created by cables but by wrapping several stitches. Also the heel and the toe deserve a closer attention

You can use any other sockyarn in uni or semi-solid colors.
Needles
Double-pointed needles (dpn) in size 2,5 mm
1-2 circular needles in size 2,5 mm [US 1.5]
If you knit tightly, use needles sized 2,75mm or 3mm [US 2 or 2.5]
