Knitting Pattern for the "Calor Blanket" made in stripes

Calor is Latin and means warmth.

Please knit your own gauge - it might be different, and doesn’t need to be reknit! You will calculate with your gauge!

The Calor Blanket is an easy to knit but super fancy blanket. As I hate to sew together little pieces, and also hate to have heavy blankets on my lap while knitting, I decided to make stripe-shawls.

Needed Stitches:

• knit
• purl
• M1R
• M1L
• k2tog
• ssk
• I-Cord

Size: Adjustable to your purpose & needs

Materials:

• Every yarn you like!
• Original: Hobbii Portobello (120m/50g, 131yds/1.8oz), in the colors Americano (20), Off White (02), Bordeaux (43), Sapphire (85) & Misty Green (113)
• Calculate how much yarn you need below (With the yarn and gauge I had, I need about 3500g (126oz) of yarn for size 230x210cm (83x91 inches).
• 2 DPNs or circular needles in a size that feels comfortable with your yarn, if you use Portobello, I suggest 4mm (UK: 8, US: 6)
• Crochet hook in slightly larger size (if you want to crochetthe stripes together).
• 2 stitch markers.
• Darning needle.
