I wanted to contribute something fun to knit to the sock madness, which is somehow mad and pretty unusual, but not a pain knitting. I think that worked out quite well.

They are:

• Knitted flat
• Knitted with an afterthought heel
• Full of easy and repetitive cables
• Sewn together, allthough this is REALLY easy to do!
• Addictive
• AND (that’s what I would say is really important!) they’re super stretchy! Doesn’t look like it? I know. But cables and ribbing go perfectly well together and the knitters with a high instep had no problem, they fit really good!

Length is adaptable.
The sock is mainly worked flat, except for the heel and toe. It‘s sewn together with a decorative seam.

• Fingering weight sock yarn with 320-420m/100g (350-460yds/3.5oz).
• 100g main color, 20-30g contrast color.
• Original: JRusch Designs Platinum Sock Yarn, Colors “Lagune” (main color) and “Schweinchen” (contrast color), 420m/100g(460yds/3.5oz)
• Needle of choice in your common needles size to accommodate up to 70 stitches as the leg and foot are knit flat.
• Cable needle, darning needle & 2 stitch markers in different colors.
