Maschenprobe:
29 stitches = 10 cm wide. 44 rows = 10 cm high.
With this gauge, the case will be about 10 cm wide and about 16 cm long.
If your gauge turns out differently, you should try thinner or thicker needles. For this pattern, I decided to knit the stitches very tightly. This makes the knitted piece relatively stiff and sturdy.

• Woll Butt Versailles (100% polyacrylic, approx. 196 m / 50 g) in two of your favorite colors, or another yarn with a similar yardage. I used a total of 21 g per color. Of that, I used 14 g per color for the bag, 5 g per color for the shoulder strap, and 2 g per color for the charm. The amount needed may vary slightly depending on your knitting style.
• 2 carabiner hooks, 25 mm : 1 with a key ring and 1 without a key ring (e.g., from Butinette)
• Size 2 knitting needles.
• 3 needles from a set of size 2 double-pointed needles (without stoppers on both ends).
