These two beautiful scarves, Mur Bella and Pictura, were inspired by the sgraffiti that can be seen on every corner, every facade, and around every window in the Swiss Engadin. The two scarves are designed so that the individual motifs can be freely exchanged between them. You can knit the two different scarves or you can choose the motifs you like best and combine them to make one scarf. The possibilities are endless.
The instructions are clearly divided into individual sections, with one section for each panel. The instructions include both a counting pattern and a row-by-row description. Some panels can be extended. This, as well as other options for extending the scarves, is described in the instructions.
Although many panels are easy enough for relative beginners to the double-faced technique, there are some difficult panels included. Therefore, I would only recommend the full scarves as described in the instructions for experienced double-faced knitters. The difficulty level of each panel is indicated at the beginning of the description in the instructions. If you don't have much experience but still want to try these scarves, I recommend skipping the most difficult panels. By combining the easier panels of the two scarves, you can knit a scarf of a good length.

What you get:
You will receive detailed instructions and a complete chart for the entire Mur Bella scarf and the Pictura scarf. Both instructions also include a separate, clear chart and row-by-row description for each individual panel of the scarf. In addition, the instructions describe various options with specific instructions for lengthening/shortening the scarves.
Difficulty level:
Both scarves contain panels that I would only recommend for experienced double-faced knitters. All other panels are easy to moderately difficult. The stitch sequence is written out for each individual row.
If you can follow the exercises from my free basic school Double Face Knitting (https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/97086/double-face-knitting-a-tutorial), you can at least knit the easy panels from this scarf.
