Add a touch of summer and romance to your kitchen! This lovingly designed set of pot holders brings that magical “butterflies in your stomach” feeling right into your home. The set features two harmoniously coordinated designs in a modern half-and-half style. Perfect as a gift or for your own kitchen, and ideal for adding pops of color and spreading joy.
By the way, I can also easily imagine these pot holders working as washcloths in a color that matches your bathroom.
The potholders are knitted using the double face technique. You can find a free basic pattern on the double face technique in my store at: https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/97086/double-face-knitting-a-tutorial.

What you get:
You get a 11-page instruction with a row-by-row description of both potholders supported with pictures. The instructions also include a clear counting pattern for both potholders. The double face technique itself is not explained in these instructions. You can find a basic tutorial in double face knitting here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/97086/double-face-knitting-a-tutorial
Difficulty level:
Easy
If you can follow the exercises from my free basic double face knitting pattern (https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/97086/double-face-knitting-a-tutorial), you can knit this potholder.
Knitted in double face: 26 stitches = 10 cm wide. 36 rules = 10 cm high.
With this stitch sample the potholder will measure approx. 21.5 cm x approx. 21.5 cm.
• Schachenmayr Catania, 100% cotton, 50g = approx. 125m.
100g each in white and 100g in lilac. I used a total of 60g per color (i.e. 30g per color per potholder). However, the amount needed may vary a little depending on your personal knitting style. You can also use a different cotton with a similar yardage (e.g. Katia Capri).
• Knitting needles no. 2
• Crochet hook no. 3
• Sewing needle
• Scissors
