Ricarda’s ProjectBag – a new design in the Ricarda family.
The charming, hand-knitted pouch combines functionality with a touch of elegance. With its textured cable pattern and soft structure, it is ideal for storing small items or your knitting projects.
You start in the center of the bottom of the bag. First, single crochet stitches are worked in spiral rounds. Regular increases create a hexagon. Once you’ve reached the required number of stitches, pick up stitches from the last round of single crochet using your knitting needle, and continue working in the round in the cable pattern until you reach the specified or desired height. After the eyelet round for the drawstring, continue in stockinette stitch until the end.

The pattern is for advances beginners. You can either work the cable pattern according to a chart or by using the written instructions.

• 2 (3, 4) skeins of „Cosma“ by Lamana (100 m / 109 yd = 50 g)

• 4 mm / US 6 circular needle or the needle size you need to achieve the specified gauge and a smaller needle for the drawstring
• 4 mm (US 8) crochet hook
• stitchmarker
• Cable needle
• Tapestry needle for weaving in the ends
