Now available in english: DRACULA

This cape takes its name from the famous novelist “Count Dracula” by Bram Stoker. Since the Count is often shown in a modern film adaptation with a bat-like cloak, he has inspired me to interpret this garment.

The cape is worked top down.

The shape cames from some tricky increases.

I've got two new patterns out this month so far, both of them are crochet patterns.
One of them is this cowl inspired by corn fields and harvest festivals in late summer, it is called "Harvest without Birds".
The sample is made in Valley Yarns Bromley which is a DK weight cashmere/mohair blend, super soft and warm. Any other yarn will work as well though. The cowl can be worked to any desired length or width. It is worked in rows and then joined at the ends as you go, no seaming required.

Read more about it here.

"Fluorescence" is a crocheted scarf with cables. It is worked in fingering sock yarn with a 3.5mm hook (US E). The sample used 760m (831yds) for a length of 165cm (66in).
The pattern is easy once you've got the hang of the cables. A step-by-step photo tutorial will show you how to do those.

Find the pattern page here.

... and feel free to use any other color that you like :-)

A quick and easy little project, perfect as a tremendous gift or simply to keep it yourself to brighten up your kitchen.

This is the Papaya Potholder.

It is worked in an easy textured pattern that is written and charted. All you need is a small leftover (about 40 meters/45 yards) and knitting needles.
The stitch pattern is completely reversible and easy to adjust in width, you could use it to make a scarf as well. Or an afghan square. Or a dishcloth. The pattern will work for any yarn and any needle size.
